bubbles have one hell of a less hp than a jammer has. will bubbles / T2 have their hp's increased in order to compensate for the increased speed an attack on a system can be introduced infact with carriers/ supers, there will be very little need for a subcap fleet to enter a system first to kill the jammer, just jump in the supers and pop the bubbles with fighters in a few seconds, then siege away at the system |

Big alliances wont be screwed at all for power projection. youll just see a fleet of 250 nullified ceptors burning around going to a system where theres 250 fitted carriers waiting that's within a jump or two of the destination.
alliances already do this with cyno toons and they have the income these days to start setting up cache's of such ships.
bubble the station to stop them I hear. ceptors are bubble immune, and 250 carriers undocking and letting lose drones is enough to scare off most camps. |

all these people crying about logistics. Do the math!
going from cobalt edge to empire will take about 9 mins in a jump freighter or rorqual after the patch. just takes a few more cyno's and a 1 min wait at each jump
theres also wh;s to get your snuff into your little home.
stop complaining and figure out how to abuse it and use it to your advantage. theres plenty of advantages to it |

Greyscale the more I read this thread, the more I see its what eve needs. yes it does hurt people who live in the ass end of no where (cobalt, paragon soul) it don't hurt much when you get around to planning.
maybe you stated things a little wrongly so that people are doing the knee jerk reaction, but the way I see it is people stop trying to rush jumping, they wont have any issues. 50 min wait between jumps to avoid fatigue isn't too bad, rather it was 20mins (0.25 decrease)
But stick with it. the game needs this kind of change. I would love to see carrier roams (just for the hilarity of a carrier trying to catch a ratter)

ive been in plenty of battles like that, uemon, 020, lxq. they aint fun. there hours of staring at a near static screen hoping you don't dc and lose your ship, or that you weren't already killed an hour ago but still waiting on the server to tell you your dead.
bring back the small scale fights that could make a difference, rather than who has the most caps, it will return to who can kill the enemy logi the fastest. |
